  • Sarah Masyra

    Instructor

After 10 years in the Media business, Sarah moved with her husband and kids from the city to the 'burbs, deciding to change her focus to staying at home with her young children. Sarah was always an avid athlete, and found that keeping up with fitness helped give her the sanity break she needed. Running became a favorite pastime but something was missing - which she found through Pilates. Not only did Pilates help strengthen Sarah in a way no other exercise has, but it helped her to find a way to connect her love of fitness with her love of helping others. Training to become an instructor was an no brainer! Sarah's classes are upbeat, challenging and always fun - be prepared to work hard and walk out with a smile on your face!

  • Michelle Schaeffer

Michelle has always enjoyed trying new fitness activities, but when she started practicing Pilates in 2005 she found what she had been missing! In 2008, Michelle left the marketing world and completed her pilates training, falling in love with sharing the power and magic of pilates with others. Michelle is classically trained by Clain Thomson DiPalma, who was taught by Romana Kryzanowska. After a few years at home with her two kids, she is thrilled to be back teaching pilates.

Inspired by the results Pilates can achieve and how it can benefit you regardless of age, ability and personal circumstances, Rachel trained as a Pilates instructor in London. Since moving to the US last year her passion has grown and she has subsequently certified in Barre, TRX and joined the Club Pilates family. It's always the sweetest of Pilates teachers that kick your butt the hardest!

    Instructor

Stacey has always enjoyed physical activity. She competed in olympic distance triathlons until she turned 50 when an old knee injury put a stop to her running. Stacey has been a bar method teacher for 11 years. When Caroline opened Club Pilates in Short Hills in January of 2017 she was hooked. Stacey was in Caroline’s first training group in March of 2017. She loves the addition of pilates to her workout as well as her teaching. Now that her four daughters are on their own, teaching pilates is a wonderful way to stay busy and healthy.

  • January Hagan

    General Manager

New to Pilates but not to the fitness and business world, January is excited to be a member of Club Pilates.   At the desk, on a reformer or at the studio, she is ready and willing to help.  She has a Dance and theater background and even choreographs and writes musicals for elementary schools. She enjoys Pilates bridge work and how it strengthens the hamstrings.  A mother of 3 boys, she is very upbeat and you can often find her dancing behind the desk when a good song comes on the radio.

  • Amy Wise

    Instructor

Amy “retired” from practicing law when she and her family moved to New Jersey from the south in 2011. She had been predominantly focusing on cardio exercise but wanted something else in her workout routine. A dear friend and Club Pilates instructor encouraged her to try pilates. She fell in love immediately. Further, she was amazed by how quickly the back pain and weakness she suffered from her scoliosis disappeared. Several years later, she was ready for a new career path and the passion she felt for how pilates changed her life was something she wanted to share with others, so she became an instructor. Amy was selected as one of Club Pilates Success Stories of 2019 so go check her out in their marketing campaign. Her southern accent is still strong but don’t let that charm fool you, she will make you burn!

  • Mikiko Baba

    Instructor

Born and raised in Tokyo, Japan, Mikiko moved to NYC and graduated from Pratt Institute with a degree in Interior Design. Having a love for fitness she had always kept active until she hurt her knee during a run. That led to her discovery of Pilates, and Mikiko left the corporate world to pursue her passion. She completed her comprehensive Pilates training program through Center For Movement in NYC and mat program from FTP Japan. You can experience Pilates in both English and Japanese with her! Mikiko loves working with people and believes in the importance of body-mind connection.
